I welcome you all to my class. As a World Language teacher, I will take toward a natural teaching approach as we
will speak Spanish in everyday situations. I will like to increase the students' awareness of globalization as we will
explore Spanish-speaking countries.
Also, I recommend that you invest some time reading carefully the following classroom rules so we all agree on the expectations
of appropriate student behavior. Please find all the requirements, rules, rewards and assessment in the packet I sent
home with your child.
Do not hesitate to contact me at school or send me notes. I am looking forward to a great year filled with enthusiasm,
confidence and participation (in Spanish).

Don't forget, we're taking a trip to Toro Loco Restaurant on June 4th. We're still looking for chaperones if you are
interested. The cost for your child is $10 which includes their entree, soda, dessert and tip. You must have your
permission slip signed and returned to your Spanish teacher ASAP.
